Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in your Model Year 2021 Aventador SVJ Roadster. On your vehicle, the screws on the connection of the heat exchanger oil lines may not have been properly tightened during the assembly process. Confirmation of the correct mounting of the assembly cannot be ensured. Agata Bolognese, Italy, December 17, 2021 Dear valued Lamborghini Sales and Service Manager, In the course of continuous product monitoring and internal tests, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. has determined that a defect that relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2021 Lamborghini Aventador. On some of the affected vehicles, the screws on the connection of the heat exchanger oil lines may not have been properly torqued during the assembly process. In October 2021, results from the investigation revealed that, for the specific car, due to a production deviation there was no confirmation if the torque value at the screws on the connection of the heat exchanger oil lines met production specification. A total number of additional 4 vehicles with a comparable production deviation was found.
