Solution for the field: Checking and, if necessary, correcting the mounting position of the Bowden cable clip on the left door. Spare Parts: No spare parts are needed for this procedure. Management of replaced parts: Store the components that have been removed from the vehicle in an appropriate manner, marking them with their corresponding bar codes so that they can be identified during visits by the competent Area Manager. Check if the yellow clip securing the bowden ca-ble on the door opening mechanism is rotated toward the inside of the panel and clicked in its housing (green OK on figure). • If the yellow bowden cable fixing clip on the door opening mechanism is facing the inside of the door panel and correctly clicked in its housing (green OK on fig-ure)  this campaign is not necessary for this vehicle, please execute the steps indicated by the OPTION A. • If the yellow bowden cable fixing clip on the door opening mechanism is facing the outside of the door panel and it is not clicked in its housing (red NOK on figure)  please execute the steps indicated by the OPTION B. INTERNAL Recall Campaign: Door Handle Safety Clip on Lamborghini Huracan EVO and STO MY 2022 S. Agata Bolognese, Italy, June 17th, 2022 Dear valued Lamborghini Sales and Service Manager, In the course of continuous product monitoring and internal tests, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. has determined that a defect that relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2022 Huracan EVO and STO vehicles. The left door outside handle may not have been properly assembled. The safety clip of the cable that unlatches the door when the outer handle is pulled may have not been properly positioned. As a result, over time, the cable could become loose and the left-side doors may not be able to be opened from outside of the vehicle. This failure could lead to the inability to operate the handle from outside of the vehicle with a safety risk in case of emergency. The door can be opened from inside at any time. For the reasons listed above, in a precautionary manner, Automobili Lamborghini decided to launch a worldwide recall campaign to rework the involved cars. The repair instructions are now available on the DMS section “Service and Recall Campaigns” as well as on LIASS. In order to further support you in answering questions to your customers, we are attaching the FAQ (Frequent Asked Question) you must observe.
