Front Frame Suspension Arm Joint Malfunction
The loose suspension arm anchor bolts may cause the suspension arm joint to collapse, resulting in a loss of control of the vehicle and increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

Summary
Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2020 Aventador SVJ Coupe and Aventador SVJ Roadster vehicles. Due to potentially damaged aluminum frame threads, the front frame suspension arm anchor bolt may have been insufficiently tightened.
Remedy
All of the affected vehicles are in dealer possession and owner letters do not need to be mailed. Dealers will inspect and replace the front frame, free of charge. The recall began October 8, 2020. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini’s number for this recall is L73X-R.03.20.

Dear valued Lamborghini Sales and Service Manager,
In the course of continuous product monitoring and internal tests, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. has determined the possibility that a few Lamborghini Aventador SVJ does not fully meet the requirements of Vehicle Safety Standards.
On the affected vehicles, the front frame suspension arm anchor bolt torque could be insufficient
due to potentially damaged aluminum frame threads caused by an improper rework
tool that may have been used by the parts supplier during manufacturing.
If this condition is present in the vehicle, the suspension arm joint could be affected and it may collapse resulting in loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash and injury to the occupants.
For all the reasons listed above, these vehicles must therefore be reworked. The repair instructions are now available on the HUB section “Service and Recall Campaigns”.
In order to further support you in answering questions to your customers, we are attaching the FAQ (Frequent Asked Question) you must follow to. Since these activities are extremely important, we are confident you will make every effort to ensure that the vehicles are repaired in the shortest time possible.

performed, access the Warranties section of the
Lamborghini Portal and follow the “Campaigns” entry
instructions in the W.Claim manual which can be
downloaded from the Portal.

by the system (see example) and select the
option performed on the vehicle.
